Have you ever sat quietly at home and watched the birds?  Or, taken a walk through the woods and marveled at the trees?

As a lifelong resident and self-taught artist of Northern Illinois, I have long been inspired by all of the natural beauty that the area has to offer.  I have combined my love of painting with my love and admiration of the beauty of all the flora and fauna of the woodlots, fields, and meadows of the area.  I love to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the early morning hours and watch the birds.  I try to capture what I see on paper using watercolor, color pencil, or pastel.
